- Indiana University Bloomington shares alternate format books with Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne. They will also scan books for us and make them available in alternative format for IPFW students
- We have a State-wide Distributing Scanner Network, and when we scan books, the information is entered into a database for the rest of the colleges to access. If they find a book they need, we make an electronic copy on disk, and send it to them, providing their student shows proof of purchase of the book, and proof of disability
- If we have the materials another institution needs, we provide it to them at cost plus an administrative fee
- CSU CAM dBase
- The Distributed Scanning Network
- Regional scanning centers
- There is a way of sharing materials but it tends to be done through national charities and libraries and only a few institutions have their own centred especially for alternative formats.
