Environments for 3D Worlds
You can specify environments for VRML in the form of backgrounds and fog,
as well as lighting. Below is an
example of an object that has a floor, background, and side wall, and is
supposed to have fog, but the fog does not seem to show here. The
backgrounds are specified in terms of URLs, in addition to controls on
angles. Fog can be controlled in terms of color, range, and
dispersion.
