Participation is required of all students.   Attendance becomes a very important part  of that participation as important material  may be missed on a particular day that cannot  be made up.  Additionally, class discussion  and lecture material is not replaceable.   In-Class exercises will also be worth points and some may draw on exercises or quizzes in the Class Text.  50 points
