  • Model Accessibility Organization

    • Build a group of qualified people to manage and oversee accessibility projects
    • Consists of stakeholder departments and internal experts
    • Lends authority to implementation including setting standards, making decisions on tools, and setting processes
    • Has clear and focused scope
    • Has clearly defined goals and mission
    • Accessibility champion with direct connections to upper management

  • Empowerment from the highest level

  • Implementation from the bottom up

  • Develop positive and negative consequences (rewards and punishments)

  • Work for awareness, training, knowledge base, feedback, and quality assurance, support
