Graphics - Manipulating Pictures with IrfanView

In MS Photo Editor the brightness and contrast were located in the Image menu and called "Balance". In IrfanView this functionality is located also in the Image menu but is called "Enhance Colors". Once you choose this option, the dialog box will look familiar.

The Enhance Colors dialog box has soem of the same look as the Balance dialog box in Photo Editor:

Note that you can try options and see what it will look like compared to the original picture. Also, the IrfanView dialog box has the same controls as Photo Editor except the gamma controls are broken out into all three colors. It's a little more convenient than Photo Editor.
