PC Help
- The main HELP system is accessed by clicking on START (at the lower
left of your screen) and then HELP. Typically, HELP contains
CONTENTS (a list of topics that you can click on to expand for
details), and INDEX (type the first letters of a command or
concept, and FIND (search for information associated with a keyword).
When a specific topic is displayed, always click on HELP TOPICS
in the upperleft corner to get back to the main help menu.
- Each individual window usually has a help topic near the upper right
corner, as does each application, such as Notepad or MS WORD.
Many HELP buttons activate the general windows help, but
some applications,
such as WORD contain help about that specific application.
