7/99-9/99 Stream A site specific video installation for consisting of five monitors buried in the ground with images of a stream flowing for Horse Head, an outdoor scupture exhibition.

4/99 The Eye Permanent video installation a the Cyclops Cafe in Seattle. A open metal frame with a suspended video monitor swinging back and forth randomly displaying computer generated images of eyeballs.

3/4-6/99 Scream!LionDogs. Set design for Haruko Nishimura and the Young Composers Collective at On The Boards Performance Theater. A music/dance piece dealing with the death of an Asain-American youth by Neo-Nazi skinheads. Review

6-8/94 "They Beat Me, Did Not Let Me Sleep And Made Me Sit Naked On A Bottle Of Hot Sauce" Random Access group show at The Center on Contemporary Arts, Seattle WA. Curated by Janet and Edward Galore. Installation elements included; alabaster, steel, lenses, CRT and computer controlled motors.

5-6/94 "Volume"--video sculpture in "The Bridge" group show at Kirkland Arts Center. Curated by Susan Purves.

9/92 "Crow"--one of the sculptures featured in "No Control", accepted in exhibit at Kirkland Arts Center, show juried by Beth Sellars, curator, Cheney Cowles Museum, Spokane.

4-6/92 "No Control"--video installation at Two Bells Tavern curated by Rolan Bert Garner. Eight mechanized egg shaped sculptures in bird cages hung from the ceiling. Video monitors in 6 of the eggs featured bird imagery, the remaining two having random bird sounds and flashing lights. The show dealt with a variety of issues including the lack of control artists have on their work once it has been presented, implying the kinetic nature of art. review...

7-8/91 "Give-In"--video installation honoring Marcel Duchamp in "The Peep Show" exhibit at the O.K. Hotel Gallery, Seattle, curated by Center On Contemporary Art (COCA) Director Larry Reid.

1-3/91 "Danielle's Nightmare"--a multi-media installation in 5 storefront windows at 911 Media Arts Center, featuring kinetic video sculptures with video and soundtracks. preview, review, review...

7/90 "Little Pig"--a video installation executed for COCA's "Low Technology--Artist Made Machines" show as part of the Goodwill Games Arts Festival. The installation featured a cage-like structure resembling both a football and a pig, which reeled around within its pig-pen, forced by motors and weights. A CRT mounted in the piece displayed a video collage which feature

3/90 "976" was completed for COCA's "Soundvision" exhibit and featured a coin-operated phone on which, in the privacy of the phone booth, participants could delight in the sounds of Ms. Arta, who'd relate a fantasy about gallery going, sex and black berets.

2/90 "Kitchen Table"--executed for "Seattle's Werst Art", an exhibit at Free Mars Cafe. This 50's style kitchen table incorporated tiles, beads, jewelry and glass, as well as lenses through which one could view live television images.

6/89 Installation for "COCACABANA" performance space. Three TV's were reassembled and hung as mobiles for use as a closed-circuit TV system during the performance series.

5/89 "Channeling"--a piece selected by jurors Nancy Spiro and Leon Golub for the Northwest Annual. It featured a video kaleidoscope visible through a peep hole in a black tube mounted in an industrial triangular floor stand.

1/89 "Radio Free Belltown"--four consecutive weekly radio performances broadcast via a homemade transmitter in Seattle for 911's "Civilization" Project.

2/88 A one night installation was executed for the Artist Trust Benefit held at the Nippon Kan Theater in Seattle. It featured 4 of 7 pieces shown at the installation described below.

11/87-1/88 "TV Works"--a video installation at Two Bells Tavern in Seattle curated by Rolon-Burt Garner. Seven video sculptures broadcast various video shorts, created for the exhibit, simultaneously. CRT's dangled from the ceiling or were enclosed in gooseneck and factory lamps, while the inner-workings of the TV's were visible through plexi-glass boxes, plastic tubing and acrylic mannequin busts.
