Some of the buttons were made later, in languages that were not part of the original Lutheran Hour list. One was sign language. One made no sense to me, and it was labelled "Gabelsberger". I never heard of this language, and when I looked it up on the ethno-languages web site, it was not found. I tried Google, and had to laugh at the first site listed, which said: "Gabelsberger, Franz 1780-1849, German stenographer. He invented a popular German shorthand system." After that it was easy to figure out "Gregg"! |
