公園、まち、小空間

Ultimately, successful urban greening comes down to the activities that happen in parks, greenbelts, open spaces, community gardens, and even the spaces around street trees. Attitudes and activities of citizens are important, as a city government rarely has the resources to do all necessary planting and management. Nontraditional greening settings, such as roof gardens, offer nature benefits in the most compact urban environments.

最終的に、有効な都市緑化は、公園やグリーンベルト、空地、コミュニティガーデン、さらには街路樹植え枡での活動にも及びます。地方行政がなかなかすべての必要な植栽や管理に手が行き届かないなか、市民の活動や態度は重要です。屋上緑化のような新しい緑化施設も多くの都市の環境のなかで貴重な自然環境を提供しています。
