Hibiscus-Infused Whipped Cream

Slightly modified from Home Skillet.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 c. whipping cream, divided
3 Tbsp. dried hibiscus
Pinch of salt
3 Tbsp. sugar

In a small pot over low heat, warm 1 cup cream and hibiscus. Remove from heat and cover, letting the leaves steep in the cream for 20 minutes. Strain and chill the mixture. Once the hibiscus cream is cold, add the mixture to the bowl of an electric mixer and combine with another 1/2 cup of cold whipping cream. Add a pinch of salt and the sugar and use the whisk attachment to the whip the mixture until stiff peaks form.
