Earlier this spring, pharmaceutics students Aprajita Yadav<\/strong>, Amelia Shan<\/strong> and Winnie Wen<\/strong> were awarded travel grants for their poster presentations at the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET<\/a>) Annual Meeting in Arlington, VA.<\/p>\n

Aprajita<\/strong> took third place in the drug metabolism and disposition competition for her innovative research on diabetic kidney disease and RBP4\/TTR ratios.<\/p>\n

Amelia\u2019s<\/strong> work on aging, sex and xenobiotic transporters at the blood-CSF barrier also earned her recognition, while Winnie<\/strong> presented her novel pharmacokinetic model for predicting renal clearance and CYP2D6 activity during pregnancy.<\/p>\n

Both Amelia<\/strong> and Winnie<\/strong> earned Travel Awards for their work.<\/p>\n
