Students gain foundations across <strong>medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, and health economics\/outcomes research<\/strong>, preparing them for research roles, graduate study, and health\u2011related professions including pharmacy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who is it for?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe minor is the best fit for students in <strong>STEM majors<\/strong> such as biology, chemistry, neuroscience, chemical engineering, biochemistry, public health, or pre\u2011health pathways who want deeper scientific training relevant to drug development, therapeutics, and health policy.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Why Study Pharmaceutical Sciences?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The pharmaceutical sciences are rapidly evolving with advances like <strong>personalized medicine<\/strong>, <strong>biologics<\/strong>, and <strong>AI\u2011accelerated drug design<\/strong>.
