The Plein Center for Aging is offering a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship in geriatric-related research. Research areas of emphasis include, but are not limited to, geriatric pharmacoepidemiology, practice-based research, and scholarship of teaching and learning. Fellows will gain experience in teaching and mentoring students. Interested fellows may be considered for earning a concurrent Master of Science (MS) degree through the Comparative Health Outcomes, Policy, and Economics (CHOICE) Institute program. The UWSOP is a global leader in transformative pharmacy research, education and outreach. The UWSOP has nationally and internationally recognized faculty members with funded research programs and extensive mentoring experience. data-contrast=\"auto\">Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The Plein Center Postdoctoral Fellow will be data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Engage in intensive, mentored research experiences with UW faculty.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Disseminate findings through manuscripts, presentations at conferences, and peer-reviewed publications.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Teach and Mentor<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Deliver lectures and contribute to coursework for the Plein Certificate in Geriatric Pharmacy Practice.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Mentor PharmD, graduate, or undergraduate trainees on research projects and scholarly activities.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Engage in Professional Development<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Develop skills in grant writing, manuscript preparation, and peer review.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Provide Service and Collaborate<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Contribute to the Plein Center\u2019s outreach and educational initiatives to advance healthy aging.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span
