{"id":10692,"date":"2015-09-17T14:01:59","date_gmt":"2015-09-17T21:01:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sop.washington.edu\/?page_id=10692"},"modified":"2025-09-24T14:31:10","modified_gmt":"2025-09-24T21:31:10","slug":"calendars","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/staff.washington.edu\/twentzel\/wordpress\/pharmd\/student-affairs\/calendars\/","title":{"rendered":"Calendars"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>UW Academic Calendar<\/h3>\n<p>The PharmD program follows the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washington.edu\/students\/reg\/calendar.html\">UW Academic Calendar,<\/a> which is organized according to the quarter system and includes dates of instruction, the UW Final Exam Schedule, University holidays and observances, registration deadlines and related dates for adding and dropping courses, tuition and fees, and more.<\/p>\n<h3>PharmD Student Calendars<\/h3>\n<p>The PharmD Student Calendars are housed in Outlook\u00a0and include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PharmD Student Events<\/li>\n<li>PharmD PY1 Courses &amp; Exams<\/li>\n<li>PharmD PY2 Courses &amp; Exams<\/li>\n<li>PharmD PY3 Courses &amp; Exams<\/li>\n<li>PharmD Elective Courses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Instructions for how to access these calendars can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/canvas.uw.edu\/courses\/1701857\/pages\/pharmd-student-calendars\">Current Student Canvas site<\/a> (UW NetID login).<\/p>\n<h3>Requesting Calendar Posting Permission<\/h3>\n<p>If you are a Student Organization leader and would like to request permission to post to the Student Events Calendar, please send an email to <a href=\"mailto:sopsas@uw.edu\">sopsas@uw.edu<\/a>\u00a0with your request.<\/p>\n<h3>Student Events Calendar Guidelines<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Events are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. We encourage student organization leaders to post their planned event to the calendar prior to pursuing a room reservation in order to prevent double booking between student organizations.\n<ul>\n<li>If there is a double booking, both parties must notify each other of the double booking before the second event can be posted. Events can be double booked as long as both parties agree the overlap is acceptable.
