Nobody
knows chickens like Manuel Echon. One of his favorite hobbies
in the world is the rasing of Manok. He, along with a few friends
have created a farm loaded with roosters, or what they call
cocks. In the Philippines, these feisty creatures are called
"manok." Raising these barnyard animals is not easy.
It takes a lot of work and patience. Over a hundred eggs are
layed a day. That is over a 50 pounds per square meter. You
can only imagine how much food, care, and nutrition these cocks
need. There wherabouts are unkown to me. Where they go is a
mystery. Either to the sky or to your plate, raising chickens
is fun!

my father's farm in Kent, Washington:

Rooster
Heaven....
Does it ever occur to you what these guys ever
think of? I bet this cock thinks he's real cool. Just look at
him strut around like he's soo cocky.
Here's
another one of those early risers. You can just feel him sing
"Cockadoodle doooooo!"
Does this look familiar to you?
Grand
isn't it? If I owned this chicken, I think I'd be in a proud
pappa. *sniff*
