We have successfully integrated smart card technology into many of our existing secure applications. We currently use “SecurID” by Security Dynamics. We intend to continue using some type of hard token in our new model, but expect to see newer smart cards which integrate certificate technology. Cost may prohibit use by large scale populations, but we are looking at partnering with vendors and other government organizations which may offset this restriction.
