He was 59. His wife Lisa has asked me to contact as many of you as I can on her behalf. My name is Paul Predecki. I have been a friend of Mel's for the past 20 years. The cause of Mel's death is still unknown, but may have been a heart attack. The Family has made the folowing funeral arrangements: location: South Holly Baptist Church. 7101 S Holly Street. Centennial Co, 80122 Date/Time: March 29 2003 at 2:00pm. The Family is requesting: Please do not send flowers make a donation to your favorite local charity. For those who may have signed up for Supertraining camps (April 11-13, May 16-18), regrettably these must be cancelled. - There is no one who can replace Mel. Regarding the Supertraining Group on Yahoo, we are arranging to have John Gray take over responsibility for monitoring and maintainance, as soon as the paperwork can be completed. In the mean time the postings will stack up until the limit is reached, at which point they will be rejected. Please bear with us till we get the legalities worked out. If you wish to contact John, his email is: jgray@sympatico.ca Lisa has been in Craig Hospital, in Denver since Mel's death and has just recently returned home. If you would like to contact her, her email is lislann@aol.com It may be a while before she is able to respond. If you wish to contact me, my email is: ppredeck@du.edu Essentially all that I know at present is in this message. We have lost a good friend and a true expert in strength conditioning and in many related areas. We shall miss his knowledge, his wisdom, his logic and his sense of humor. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his wife Lisa, his sister Isabell and the rest of his family. My the Lord keep him in the palm of his hand and grant him peace. Sincerely, Paul Predecki
