PhD Student, Operations Management

I am a sixth year PhD student in Operations Management in Foster School of Business at University of Washington. I work under supervision of Prof. Michael Wagner. My research spans the areas of machine learning, natural language processing, statistics, and optimization along with their applications. My PhD research lies in the joint of these areas, especially reinforcement learning, bidirectional long short-term memory, multi-task learning, statistical modeling, and optimization, with applications to asset-based sharing economy, on-demand platforms and healthcare analytics. Our asset-based sharing economy research collaborates with Felix Cheng, in Convoy Inc., in the online auction, and revenue management feild. Our second research in healthcare feild collaborates with Dr. David Coffey, in Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center and Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, to analyze and model large-scale clinical data from Multiple Myeloma Cancer patients with the goal of deriving optimal decision making solutions.
