Historically the AVF has been used as a way of entering exceptions into the Shuksan database. Any person or group account that did not fit in another source has ended up in the AVF. Since there are many types of people and things entered in the AVF many of the fields in the AVF have been used creatively. There is a need to reavaluate the uses of the AVF and redesign it to support it's current uses and any future uses we can forsee.
Due to the different requirements of group accounts vs. individual accounts it makes sense to separate this data into two different sources. Since the AVF does not meet the requirements for either group accounts or idividual accounts the AVF should be retired and two new sources should be created, the IVF ( Individual Validation File ) and the GVF ( Group Validation File ).
