I really appreciated the ego-less approach to CS. (almost unheard of!) This has been one of the best taught & most interesting classes I've had in my 4 years here at UW.

This class was amazing -- I learned so much and it seemed to corrolate with my other courses as well particularly math. I loved that lecture was both entertaining & informative.

Ken's outgoing attitude and enthusiasm made me want to do good. I felt would be letting him down if I didn't try as hard to learn as he did to teach.

I thought your to-the-point slides were excellent. Focusing on understanding the topics & usually leaving the code/details to us worked well for me. The homeworks were fun to do, and were obviously the best way to learn the materials.

Wonderful staff -- Ken's "re-formatting" of the slides and course objectives. Lecture was a great use of time as was section, homework was not all busy work and you taught us how to think before we program to cut down on time spent coding.

The lectures were great. The material presented was done so in a manner that made it fun to learn.
