    Responsibilities: Conduct ongoing business analysis and iterative development of business process and information managements solutions for Academic Human Resources, which includes data modeling, business process reengineering, enterprise collaboration, and web application development. Serve as a subject matter expert and campus liaison with regard to Academic Human Resource information and processes. Collaborate with administrators and analysts across the university to develop and implement policies, procedures, and resources to support enterprise data, process, and knowledge management.
  • 1 January 2003 – 15 June 2004:
    College of Business, Oregon State University
    Lead System Architect and Developer, TeachEngineering Digital Collection Project
    Responsibilities: Work with a small team to design, implement, and deploy the technical and system components of the TeachEngineering Digital Collection, a $1M NSF funded K-12 education outreach project. Successful project implementation demanded the following skills: communication with a geographically disperse team, project management, requirements analysis, technology research and evaluation, process and data modeling, object-oriented design, open-source and platform independent design and testing, user interface design and usability engineering, web programming, database design, data persistence, metadata generation, search engine design, XML, HTML, PHP, Java, SQL, Unix, XMLSpy, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and many others.
  • 1 July 2001 – 31 December 2002:
    Forestry Media Center, Oregon State University
    Web Application Designer and Programmer
    Responsibilities: Work with a small team to redesign and implement Forestry Learning Opportunities for Workers forestry education site (www.forestlearn.org). Design and implement a new database driven web site for the Forestry Media Center, including a dynamically generated and maintainable catalog of forestry media products and teaching aids using PHP, Microsoft Access and Microsoft SQL server.

    Responsibilities: Preparation and instruction of eight weekly, one-hour computer laboratory classes, author and grade student assignments, hold office hours and tutor students, proctor examinations, and participate in weekly meetings with instructor and other teaching assistants.

    Responsibilities: Work with team to provide user-level hardware and software support for faculty, staff and students in the College of Forestry. Team tasks included new equipment set-up and installation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair and upgrade of existing hardware and software, and research and evaluation of new purchases in a heavily networked environment. Individually responsible for supporting all Macintosh systems and users, multimedia equipment, and printers.
