Urooj Khan is a 4th year Ph.D. candidate in accounting at the Michael G. Foster School of Business. Prior to joining the Ph.D. program, he obtained a MS in accounting from Syracuse University and was employed by the Corporate Banking division of Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) Bank.
Urooj is interested in capital markets research and financial reporting issues. More specifically, he is interested in research in the following areas: (i) fair value accounting and standard setting, (ii) firm communications and voluntary disclosure, and (iii) analyst following and coverage.
