Today in class we started to think through what he means by defining several terms central to contemporary cultural critics. Now that we have an idea of what he means, we have to figure out what the stakes are for web authors. Knowing that hypertext lexia and mourceau lend themselves to de-centered, writerly metatexts composed of multiple voices that draw connections between texts, how do these characteristics change the way we compose, the nature of composition itself, or even how we conceive of writing? For each of the topics below, explain how and why you might adjust your composition to accommodate the pertaining characteristics of hypertext. This is the practical side of our discussion. Knowing what you know now about the topics below, how and why might you change how you present lexia on the net?
