Zebrafish have Three Types of Pigment Cells

Melanophores, Xanthophores, Iridophores

Melanphores are the black pigment in the fish that give them their "zebra" stripes.
Xanthophores are the yellowish pigmented cells.
Iridophores are the shiny pigment that make fish "silver."

All pigment cells in the zebrafish, other than the melanophores in the retinal epathelium, are neural crest derived.
