Commercial Info

There is a bank in Tochni that will change money with a visa card.  The nearest ATM is "at the Zygi crossroads about 5km away".  So if you don't have a visa card, be sure to get some Cypriot money at the Larnaca airport before you go to Tochni!

Cyprus Villages is the rental agency that provides our housing.  Click around there, and you can find a short description of Tochni and photos of some of the apartments and houses.  (I understand that last year most of the students stayed in the Chris, Antonis and Danae houses.)

The Independent did a travel article on Tochni which is quite complimentary.

Virtual Tourist has some good photos of the village and some travel tips from tourists, if you search around a bit.

Student Info

The 2003 and 2006 programs both put together groups on Facebook.  There are a few photos there, and the 2006 group is open, so if you're on Facebook, you can join.

One student from 2003 wrote a fairly entertaining blog about his adventures in Cyprus.  You'll have to click on the "back 20 entries" button on the right, then scroll down to his entries starting at 2003-08-19.

And a student from '06 put together this photo album.

I got the photos below from some of our students.  I don't know for sure what each one is, but my guesses are in the captions.
