Research My dissertation research focuses on the role that Congress has played in influencing the issues appearing on the agendas of the federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court. I will be presenting my current research project, an examination of the statutory changes in the United States Supreme Court's mandatory appellate jurisdiction, at the 2009 Annual Meeting of the Western Political Science Association.
