How to Make a Project Submission for CODEXA

  1. CREATE a metadata spreadsheet (*.xls) which contains the description data for your project. The spreadsheet can be found here: http://content-dev.lib.washington.edu/dxarts.xls. Instructions are inside the spreadsheet file.
  2. CREATE a text file (*.txt) which contains the names of all the files that are a part of your project. Please reflect the directory structure in this contents listing, if applicable.
  3. CREATE an archive file (a zip, tar, gz or other compressed assemblage of folders and files used in your project) which includes the metadata spreadsheet, your project files (components), and the text file with the list of contents. Name this file according to this convention: LastnameX_20080831_Title_of_Work.zip — where: Please use underscores rather than spaces in the file name.
  4. CREATE a data CD or DVD of your project archive.
  5. BRING the CD to Stacy Waters (stacy@u.washington.edu) or check for more current/the latest information about where to deliver your digital media CODEXA submission.
