File Splitter
To use this feature, select "File Splitter..." from the Utilities Menu.
If you request a large number of hands from a poker site (more than 500) then it would be best to split the file that they send you into smaller files.
The reason for this is because Access uses quite a bit of memory when importing and if you have a large file, you may get an "out of memory" error.
Select the file you want to split using the Browse... button. The file must be a text file with the .TXT extension.
Select how many hands you want in each file (you can select 100, 200 or 300).
Click the Split File button.
Note: The smaller files that get created will have the same name as the larger file with "_fs_nnnnn" appended where "nnnnn" is a number like 00001, 00002, 00003, etc. These files will be saved to the same folder where the larger file is stored so it may be best to create a separate folder so that it will be easy for you to file all the smaller split files when the process finishes.
