Departmental Computing
The older server equipment continues to be upgraded or replaced with new systems. The next significant change will be the replacement of our current email server. Between Spring and Summer 2008, our existing web server will be replaced, as well as three new high-capacity compute servers to replace the current compute machines.

New printers will be installed in the Math and Advising Offices very soon. This will allow us to move an existing printer into the 1st Floor copier room. This additional available printer will alleviate the need for grad students on the PL and LL level from having to travel to the 3rd Floor to retrieve print jobs.

We are continuing to move newer systems into grad student offices, replacing much older and slower computers.
