It is CRUCIAL that Students complete all weekly assigned work by the end of the week given.  Late work will lose points.   Students will need to develop a body of knowledge about their topics through a week by week progression.  Click below for details about each assignment.

Pre-Test            
To be given the first day of Class.  Measures student knowledge of what will be covered in class. It does not count towards your class grade. 

Topics Outline
This is a full outline of your intended topic.  Think Quest Students should submit a diagram topic outline of their Web Sites.                                  TOP

Library Notes& Sources
Keep notes on ALL of your sources for your References Page.   Sources should be turned in with every Page written.                    

Summary Write-ups of Research
The rough draft summaries for all of your research sources are due every week.  Turn in with sources.  The best sites will have a lot of good information that  is easy to understand.    

Rough Drafts
Written
work turned in will be revised daily or weekly.  You must do all revisions and resubmit them for final publication.      

Group Evaluations
Following a brief overview presentation of your Web Site, your group peers will give feedback.  The Final Presentation Grade will be Peer Evaluated.

Revisions

Due Dates
Pay attention. 
You are out of time!!!  When Drafts are due, they are really due!  This includes a hard copy of your research and sources.

Presentations   
Students will present their Web Sites and Power Point Presentations in class.

Post-Test Due
Each student should complete a Post Test for the class.  It does not count towards your grade, but measures your progress in the class.

Permissions

Each Web Site should have a permissions page that gives an email or information on how permission was given for using graphics or text from copy righted sources.

References                                                                                                                              TOP
Every written source, needs to have the reference information as follows: author, year, title, publication place, web address (if applicable) and page numbers where you got your information, attached to it.

Citations
Citations indicate the author of the information you wrote about.  They should occur in every paragraph and typically show (author, year) or (author, pages used)

Registration/Application
Every Entry should have an application and each Team will Register.  You will go over this more in your ThinkQuest Class with Byron and Sharon.  For exact steps go to:  http://dev.triothinkquest.org/TRIO2002/participant_apply.php

Entry Questions
Entry Questions are the final step towards submitting your ThinkQuest Entry.  Once you submit these you are officially entered and your Web Site submitted for consideration.  We will do these at the very end of the Summer Program. For information go to:
