The Final Project (50 points) will give students the opportunity to research and write about a topic of their choice as related to Ellison’s The Invisible Man. This project can be collaborative or done individually and will be due by the end of the quarter.  It may also be posted on the Collaborative Web site. Be as creative or as standard as you like. General Guides include the following: 
Type Minimum Length
Power Point slide show 7 slides
*notes section each slide, 
1 reference slide
Video (that reflects one of the concepts or theories) 10 minutes with Credits/Refs
Research essay 3 pages, 1 reference page
Web page 3 Main pages, 
with 3 sub pages, 
1 reference page

General Project GUIDES (Uses APA or MLA Format):
1. Meets minimum length from Above Guidelines (if collaborative, each student must still contribute what is required from guides above)  
2. Touches on some aspect of topics/concepts related to Invisible Man.
3. Contains references to outside research (besides the web) 
4. Grammatically Correct
5. Ideas are organized and focused
6. Reference Page of all sources and citations where appropriate (use MLA or APA Format -if done correctly, at least one citation per  paragraph, or source of information)       
7. All Final Projects should be turned with both a hard copy and a disk copy (disks will be returned).  They also should be uploaded to the E-Portfolio by the last week to receive full credit.
