1       Headings Report for C, J, and K Records in Windows XP Pro "Japanese Mode" (Requires restart of Windows)
1.1       Windows XP Pro Regional and Language Options;  Advanced Setting:  Japanese

1.2       font.properties file SAVED AS font.properties.ja (see attached to related email message)

1.3       Headings report viewed in Japanese mode; 3 records recently changed

1.4       Searched for 5/28/04 only

1.5       Printing of C, J, and K Works Fine (Will Provide Innovative with fax of Printout if Requested).

 
 

2       Headings report viewed in Windows XP Pro ENGLISH mode
(Requires restart of Windows)

2.1       Windows XP Pro Regional and Language Options, Advanced Tab setting:  English (United States)

2.2       font.properties file = [standard, with most recent update from III] (see attached to related email message)

 

2.3       3 records recently changed

2.4       searched for 5/28/04 only

2.5       Characters Display Fine in English

2.6       BUT, printing is broken:  Korean hangul prints ok, but Chinese and Japanese print as garbage

(Will Provide Innovative with fax of Printout if Requested).

 

Note: We have also tried CJK Printing and Display in Chinese and Korean Modes.  Printing and/or Display Does NOT work in these modes.  Both only seem to work in Japanese Mode with the font.properties.ja file set as above.
