Below I have included a pictorial of Seattle's weather (at least from my perspective) as documented by the webcam in Red Square at the University of Washington. What's this got to do with construction noise, you ask? Absolutely nothing.
To look at some pictures I've taken of logging activities for a recent safety and health research project, click here. (Warning: this is a big page with lots of pictures, so it may load a trifle slowly. And possibly intolerably slowly. Sorry).
Seattle Weather by Month
January (Unimaginable amounts of rain)
February (Enormous amounts of rain; catching bus becomes difficult)
March (Rains only twice - once from March 1-14, once from March 15-31)
April (Moderate amounts of rain; "April showers bring....May showers")
May (Acceptable amounts of rain; runoff still substantial)
June (Marginal amounts of rain; preparations begin for brief appearance of "Sun")
July (Seattleites temporarily blinded after exposure to unfamiliar "Sun.")
August (No rain; general panic ensues as "drought conditions" are rumored)
September (Small amounts of rain; birds pay homage to last of "Sun")
October (Remarkable amounts of rain)
November (Fantastic amounts of rain with some fog)
December (Tremendous amounts of rain with some snow)
