Someone owns almost everything you might find on
the Web.
- Only a relatively small amount of material
is in the public domain.
- Keep track of where you obtained all original
material in your site.
- Obtain permission from the owner before using
any intellectual property.
- Carefully check use terms of use for any clip art,
library materials, and archive photos.
- If you have art work done on contract, be sure
the terms of the agreeement specify the full
range of uses you might have for the work.
