 Perezia recurvata occurs on steep, dry, sunny slopes. This herbaceous perennial produces low mats of evergreen foliage and light blue flowers

The white flowers of Drimys winteri contrast beautifully against the glossy foliage. This small, evergreen tree is common throughout the Magallanas region.
