My main research interests are in statistical genetics. I am now part of the team at the UW-GCC (Genetics Coordinating Center), where my projects include the NHLBI TOPMed WGS Project, the Hispanic Community Health Study / Study of Latinos (HCHS/SOL), and the NINDS Stroke Genetics Network (SiGN) study.

Previously, I was a statistical analyst for the Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis (MESA) SNP Health Association Resource (SHARe) Project, a study which aims to examine genetic variants that are potentially causally associated with subclinical cardiovascular disease and risk factors that predict disease progression. As a research assistant, I worked on other MESA ancillary studies including MESA Family, MESA Candidate Gene, and MESA IMT Progression.

I received my master's in biostatistics from UW and bachelor's in statistics and genetics from UC Davis.
