My buddy Jeff had been wanting to get out to an area near the town of Vantage, Washington.  According to him they had a nice couple of canyons that are great for rock climbing. 

Since we have mostly done our climbing at indoor gyms we enlisted Tom to come out with us.  He's done plenty of climbing and was pretty familiar with the procedures and steps to lead climbing and setting up top ropes.  Plus he had a rope. 

So we drove out Saturday night and slipped into the Vantage parking/camping area a little after 11pm.  It was pretty dark, the road wasn't exactly established, so we ended up driving over and through some campsites and a few big rocks.
