AUDITION NOTICES: DSA

ALUMNI CONCERT AUDITIONS!!

Alumni Concert 2010 auditions will be held this Tuesday November 17. The collaborating choreographers are: Monique Courcy, Laara Garcia, Alice Gosti, Thomas Heasley, Morgan Houghton, Melanie Williams. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to audition, we are looking for excited dancers ready to move and have fun. This is a chance for you as a dancer to work with choreographers you might not have had a chance to dance with in the past. Please know your potential schedules, particularly for the holiday break, as that will be the bulk of most rehearsals, we will have a form for you to fill out with this information. IMPORTANT DATES: Audition: Tuesday, November 17th 6pm-8:30pm Studio 265. Show Dates Wednesday January 6 (preview) @ 6:30pm. Thursday January 7 - Saturday Jan 9 (Shows) @ 6:30pm. Sunday January 10th (matinee show) @ 2:00pm. Spacing/Tech January 5th 6pm-10pm (exact times TBD) We hope to see you all there!

Auditions for the Faculty Dance Concert (performing at the end of Autumn 2009) Friday October 2 6:00pm-8:00pm Meany 265.

Auditions for the Dance Majors Concert (performing at the end of Winter 2010) will be scheduled in early October.

Auditions for the M.F.A. Concert (performing at the end of spring 2010) will be scheduled in early December or January.

Chamber Dance Company: The University of Washington's professional resident dance company, presents a concert featuring international works of historical and artistic significance. Autumn Quarter. October 22-25, 2009. Meany Theatre.

Faculty Dance Concert: Presents works by Dance Program Faculty and guest choreographers performed by undergraduate and graduate students, and guest artists from the community. Autumn Quarter. December 4-6, 2009. Meany Studio Theatre

Dance Majors Concert: Presents new works by Dance Program seniors, performed by undergraduate students. Winter Quarter. March 3-7, 2010 Meany Studio Theatre

M.F.A Dance Concert: This concert features original works by Dance Program graduate students in graduate students, performed by undergraduate students. Spring Quarter. May 19-23, 2010. Meany Studio Theatre
