Email: penseur@u.washington.edu Office: ART 120 (Slide Library) Drop ins: Monday 10:30-12:30 Appointments: Monday 12:30-2:30, Wednesday 9:30-12:30, Friday 9:30-12:30 Appointments are available in half hour slots during the hours listed above. Please contact the writing center TA at least 24 hours in advance with 2 preferences for appointments. The TA will reply with confirmation of your appointment. Please also send your paper along with the objectives of your writing assignment and be sure to bring your assignment handout to the appointment. The limited numbers of appointments each week fill up quickly, especially in the weeks before midterms and finals. Please plan ahead and schedule appointments early to ensure availability. The Writing Center is open to ALL students enrolled in a School of Art course and provides assistance with any part of the writing process, including: brainstorming ideas, creating a thesis, draft writing, proofreading, and final editing. This free assistance is helpful for all types of writing assignments such as term papers, essay questions, and response papers. |
