Why did we invest in Chandler?
- Calendaring is a largely unsolved problem
- Commitment to open standards
- Opportunity to specify software crafted to specifically meet our needs

How's it going?
- OSAF is impressive!
- Progress is slow (unsurprisingly)
- The eventual role of the server is still not clear to us
- The success of CalDAV is not guaranteed (though looking good)
- OSAF's presence is creating overall progress in the calendaring space
- We are continuing to be cautiously optimistic
