- CAP is dead!
- Long live CalDAV!
- "...intended to make WebDAV-based calendaring an intereropable standard that supports single-user calendar access, calendar sharing, and calendar publishing."
- Builds on methods used by Apple, Mozilla and others
- but more granular
- Current draft: http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-dusseault-caldav-04.txt

- Montreal meeting in September 2004
- Attendees included Oracle, IBM, Novell, Mozilla, Yahoo, and others.
- Enthusiasm appeared high for CalDAV and for simplifying the iCal data formats
