I am a doctoral candidate in philosophy at the University of Washington, working on
a dissertation in political philosophy, entitled “Listening in Public: Duties of Civility in a
Pluralistic Democracy.” I also pursue research in philosophy of science, and for the last two years I was the graduate research assistant for the UW Science Studies Network. I am currently serving as the Alvord Fellow in the Humanities.
