Accurate communication about the status of reserve materials is very important. We need to communicate with each other, with our patrons, and with our faculty.

When setting up a reserve course, add notes to the course record so that staff at service desks can see what actions have been taken on the list.

When working on the reserve list be sure to ask the professor if there are any unclear titles or missing information.

When all material has been requested for the reserve list, let the faculty member know. It is especially important to let them know if materials are missing or on order.

As materials arrive for the course, let the faculty member know.
