We use two instruments to measure outcomes. The Simple Shoulder Test
is a convenient measure of function with 12 questions. The SF-36 has
a larger history of use and evaluation, but takes longer for the
patient to complete.

This is a flatbed laser interferometry device that Bill Dougherty built
for scanning the 3D surface of a glenoid - I'll try to get a picture
of it in action.
This is a pretty-neat device that Dr. Matsen built for testing the
stability of spheres in a dish. I'll try to get some pictures up for
a better-idea of how this is used.
