Skiing
| Here's a little story of a recent trip we took to Blackcomb Mtn in B.C. Canada: | ||||||||||||||||||||

| Our ski vacation started out with beautiful weather and great snow. We were having a blast! | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Ok, so my form leaves something to be desired, but the heart's in the right place! :) | ||||||||||||||||||||

| The skiing was so good, that I managed to convince Parker and Thom that they could handle skiing the glacier. So here we are, going up early in the morning to carve first tracks. The glacier sits on the back side of the peak on the right of this picture. You have to hike a little to get to it, but it's easy to find. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| And the views from up here are stunning, to say the least. | ||||||||||||||||||||

| Ok, now here's where my little disclaimer comes in. Usually (at least everytime I've been up there) the glacier is groomed, making it a steep, blue run. Well, it had been snowing a lot lately, so there was a nice ankle deep layer of fresh powder. Having skiied powder a couple times before, a few turns is all it took for me to LOVE POWDER! This run absolutely ROCKED. But I get ahead of myself... | ||||||||||||||||||||

| Here's Parker edging his way to the lip of the run. Once we saw it wasn't groomed, I don't need to tell you the cursing that came from both Parker and Thom! As you can see I started my assault with a little traversing, following the lead of another skier (in red). | ||||||||||||||||||||

| All things considered, Parker did awesome skiing in these conditions. (For those of you that don't know, he's probably been skiing only a dozen times) That's me waiting at the bottom. I thought it best to keep my distance at this point. The names I was being called can't exactly be repeated here! :) | ||||||||||||||||||||

| I even pull a little victory leap off a bump later that day. Man, was that ever fantastic skiing! | ||||||||||||||||||||

| And in the end, my Sweetie forgave me anyway. Now he wants to go back and do it again!
