Here are some pictures of my first fishing experiences:

My first landed fish (Michael hooked it for me) was a steelhead caught on the Salmon River over on the Olympic penninsula in 1997. You'll have to check it out at Michael's Grip-n-Grin page.

And here's the first little fishy I ever hooked and landed myself. This little Chinook jack was caught in 1998 on the Skykomish River. That's Justin (Michael's fishing buddy) next to me:

In 1999, I moved on to bigger fish. This is my first Chinook that I hooked and landed on the Snohomish River. Was that a foggy morning!:

And here's a "double" humpy. Michael and I both hooked and landed these humpies at the same time. Haha! Mine's bigger! This was the same day as the above Chinook. As you can see, the fog burned off to a beautiful day:
