Inside the Cathedral
At the back (stern?) of one of the two naves.
There was something about rubbing this column or putting your hands in the mouths or something...I don't remember. I blame the jet lag.
This one I remember: You touch your head to the head of this statue to absorb the wisdom of whichever saint this represents (I forget). Ah, religion. Reminds me of Uzbekistan. Most of the mosques had some legend like this. I remember one we had to circle 3 times. Click here to jump to that trip.

More ornamentation at the head of the nave. Lemme just say that this photo was pitch-black when I downloaded it. I'm truly amazed that this much information was captured on my tiny digital camera. Thank you Photoshop.
