Henry's Research

My primary research interests are human cooperation and conflict.

P2P file sharing research: I have recently concluded a study that looked at unconditional generosity by file uploaders in online peer-to-peer file sharing networks. I am currently researching the BitTorent file sharing phenomenon.

Blood donation research: I am currently analyzing data from a recent study on attitudes about blood donors and donations among young adults.

Dissertation research: My dissertation research will analyze three interrelated factors of social life in highland Peru: (1) the regulation of cooperation via reputation incentives, (2) the dynamics of social network membership, and (3) the health consequences of membership in social networks.
