About Me

I'm a third year astronomy graduate student at the University of Washington in Seattle. I'm interested in stellar physics and galactic structure, from the magnetic activity of nearby M dwarfs to substructure in the outer disk of the Milky Way.

I completed my undergraduate studies at Georgia State University as a member of the Research Consortium on Nearby Stars (RECONS). As an undergrad, I also spent a summer studying in Spain. The picture above is of me in Toledo (Spain, not Ohio!). If I'm not working on astronomy, you'll probably find me cheeing on one of Atlanta's ill-fated sports teams.
