IMAP - Internet Message Access Protocol
Definition
IMAP is a client/server protocol for manipulating remote
message stores.
It defines a way for mail programs to
access mailboxes on remote computers as if they were local.

There are about 60,000 accounts
We see about 250,000 messages per day (Homer)
Peaks are above 20,000 messages per hour across 16 IMAP servers
